ピルについての避妊問題

1.なぜピルを飲むと妊娠しないの？
ピルは、女のコのからだにある卵巣から分泌されている黄体ホルモンと卵胞ホルモンと同じものが化学合成されたもの。だからピルを服用すると、このふたつのホルモンが、排卵後と同じ状態をつくりだして「視床下部」や「脳下垂体」っていうところに『もう排卵は済んだよ』と知らせる。すると今月分の仕事は終了！ってことになって、排卵を起こすホルモンが止められるという仕組みなんだ。

2.ピルの避妊効果は？
ピルは指示通り正しく飲むことが大事。きちんと飲めば、妊娠する確率は0.1％.でも、飲み忘れた人を含めると妊娠率は約5％といわれている。飲み忘れしないことが大切なんだ。

3.どうやって飲むの？
低用量ピルは「月経の第1日目」から飲み始める。サンデーピルといって「月経が始まった最初の日曜日」から飲み始めるものもあるが、基本的には指定された日から1日1錠飲みつづける。毎日、決まった時間に飲む習慣を身につけよう。朝起きたときでもいいし、夜の歯磨きのときでもいい。毎日必ずやっていることと一緒に飲めば、飲み忘れを防止できる。

でももし、飲み忘れたときはこれから言うことを覚えておいて。
飲み忘れが24時間以内だったら気付いた時点で1錠、さらに予定時刻に1錠飲む。予定時間に「昨日飲み忘れた！」って気付いたら2錠飲む。それ以上時間がたってしまっていたらピルを飲むのをやめて、次の月経を待って新しいシートで飲み始める。もちろん飲み忘れた日から避妊効果はないと考えるように。月経周期を崩したくなければ続けて飲んでもいいよ。ただしつぎのシートに入るまでは、避妊効果はないと考えてね。

それと、月経開始後最初の日曜日から飲み始めるほうを選んだ人は、その飲み始めが6日目と7日目になる場合に限り(つまり月経初日が月曜日と火曜日の人)最初の一週間だけ別の避妊法を併用しなければいけない。
